What are the inspection requirements and deformation reasons of tower crane steel structure

The deformation of tower crane steel structure includes local bending deformation, distortion and eccentricity. According to the requirements for deformation inspection of tower crane steel structure, the deformation shall be deemed as exceeding the following range

1. The straightness tolerance of the bar along the full length longitudinal axis is 1/750.

2. The deformation of the main chord in use shall be no more than 3‰ ~ 5‰.

3. The deformation of the web bar shall not be greater than 2 ~ 4mm.

4. The hole pitch error of rod connection bolts shall not exceed 1/2 of the assembly clearance, and the roundness error of screw holes shall not exceed l/2 of the assembly clearance.

Reasons for deformation of tower crane steel structure are as follows

(1) due to the collision, knocking and other reasons, resulting in local bending deformation of steel structure;

(2) due to loose connection bolts, so that the screw hole wear into ellipse, resulting in each arm, rod eccentricity between additional bending moment;

(3) accidental collision deformation of steel structure caused by misoperation. If the operating mechanism fails, the crane arm will be out of control and fall back, and the tower will be collided with it, which will cause serious deformation;

(4) long-term overload use, make the steel structure yield deformation

If the balance of the superstructure is not adjusted when jacking, and the center of gravity of the jacking part is not placed on the jacking oil cylinder, the top structure loses its balance and even the center of gravity is offset greatly. The pressure of the guide wheel of the climbing frame on the main chord of the standard section is too large, causing bending deformation of the main chord of the tower body and instability of the steel structure of the tower crane.
