Technical measures for tower crane safety

1. Before the installation, jacking, wall attaching device installation and disassembly of tower crane, organize the students to learn the installation (disassembly) safety technical scheme, organize the operators to explain the technical scheme, and separately explain the work content, technology, safety measures and matters needing attention.

2. Operators must pass the training and assessment, drivers, hoisting command and electrical inspection personnel must hold a license to work, and must wear a safety helmet when entering the operation site. Safety belts should be fastened and non-slip shoes should be worn when working at height.

3. In case of overhead transmission wires, the crane structure shall be avoided from entering the dangerous short range of transmission.

If the safe distance cannot be guaranteed due to the limitation of conditions, the crane shall be erected only after taking effective safety protection measures with relevant departments.

4. Operators must abide by the working rules at high altitude. It is strictly prohibited to work after drinking and some unsafe behaviors at high altitude.

5. Before the hoisting operation of the casing frame, slewing support seat, balancing arm, lifting boom and other large pieces, the person in charge must make a special safety technical explanation. Each time the hoisting is 20cm off the ground, the machine must be stopped to check the safety and stability.

6. The hanging point of the large object should be accurate to ensure the balance of the suspended object. Before lifting, fasten both ends with a stable rope to prevent rotation, swing and collision of the weight.

7. A security cordon shall be set up outside the 5-10m range of the installation operation area. The site shall assign specialists, and non-related personnel shall not enter the cordon.

8. The installation personnel shall have clear working positions and clear operational responsibilities, shall not only stick to their posts but also cooperate with each other, consciously abide by the safe operation rules and the tower crane safety technical measures, and shall concentrate on their work with all their strength.

9. The tower crane shall not be used after installation without passing the "installation quality test".
