The design working condition of tower crane foundation shall be calculated according to independent state, which shall be calculated according to working state and non working state respectively. The working load of tower crane foundation shall include the dead load, lifting load and wind load of tower crane and foundation, and the combination coefficient of variable load shall be considered; the non working load shall include the dead load and wind load of tower crane and foundation. When the tower crane is lifting, the foundation shall consider the dynamic load.

The foundation design of tower crane shall be calculated and checked according to the following provisions:




(1) the tower crane foundation and the foundation and pile foundation under the foundation shall meet the relevant provisions of bearing capacity calculation;


(2) if the bearing capacity of natural foundation does not meet the following table, the foundation should be designed according to the foundation deformation.

1. The main bearing layer of the foundation in the table refers to the foundation soil layer within the range of not less than 5m, which is 1.5b under the tower crane plate foundation and 36B under the Cross Foundation (B is the width of the foundation bottom);


2. If the tower crane foundation has the following conditions, the foundation deformation checking calculation shall still be done:




(1) when the ground near the foundation has surcharge which may cause the foundation to produce large uneven settlement;


(2) when the adjacent buildings bearing the soft natural foundation are too close to each other and may incline;


(3) under the bearing layer of the foundation, the soft underlying layer or the filling with large thickness.
